Abstract

This research is to find the development of integrated agricultural systems implemented in several countries and in Indonesia and the constraints that occur in the implementation of integrated farming systems (IFS). IFS is a solution to a crisis situation where agriculture or livestock can no longer support all the economic, ecological, ecosystem, social, and technological aspects. This integrated farming system combines agriculture with livestock, fisheries, forestry, and tourism. Plants with livestock are interconnected and mutually beneficial and mutually supportive. This incorporation involves utilizing all existing resources in its entirety, to produce by-products in the form of waste utilization from agriculture and livestock (zero waste) and supported by technological developments to support it. The method uses integrated farming systems by looking for similarities, differences, views, and summarizes the results of previous research. This research covers literature studies on the development, implementation, and constraints that occur in integrated farming systems in several countries in the world, and Indonesia with various models of integrated farming systems are applied. Based on a literature study found that integrated farming systems can improve food security, farmer welfare, increase soil fertility, increase employment, create renewable technology, and the importance of government support to create opportunities for farmers in increasing their agricultural scale and more prosperous farmers in the future. In addition, there are also obstacles in IFS such as the absence of a correct understanding (farmers and facilitators), yield and productivity levels have not convinced farmers, the model is not in accordance with the ecosystem, has not utilized local potential, the existence of integrators have not been considered, yet the existence of comprehensive studies and agricultural development policies are not pro-farmers and lack of supporting technology.

Abstract

The city of Mataram is one of the regions that has the potential for developing organic agriculture and has prepared a policy of using organic materials for farmers in conducting their farming. One of the policies of the Mataram City Government in supporting organic farming practices is to provide assistance in the form of production equipment in the form of an organic fertilizer counter for each farmer group. But in reality, at this time there are still not many farmers who want to do an organic farming system in their farming business. The purpose of this study is to 1) Determine farmers' responses to organic agriculture, and 2) link the factors that encourage farmers to apply organic farming. The method used in this research is descriptive method. This research was conducted in two districts namely Selaparang Subdistrict and Sekarbela Subdistrict, Mataram City, which were selected by purposive sampling. The data in this study are cross section data obtained from interviews with 40 people taken by quota sampling consisting of 20 organic farmers and 20 non-organic farmers. The data collected is then analyzed using a categorical data analysis model. The results showed that, the response of organic farmers to organic farming in the city of Mataram depended on positive results. The response of organic farmers to organic farming in the city of Mataram was positive because respondents thought that the benefits of organic farming on soil fertility were very high, could reduce environmental pollution and could increase increased agriculture. While the response of non-organic farmers to organic farming is in the moderate / less positive range. This causes the complexity of the application of organic agriculture both in terms of fertilization and when spraying pests and diseases. Factors that support farmers in implementing organic farming systems in the city of Mataram are the role of extension workers, approval of agricultural technology and capital. While the factors that hamper farmers involving organic agriculture are farmer prices, prices of organic products which are the same as non-organic products, capital, access to information and access to organic agricultural production.

A partnership is a business strategy that is cultivated in a cooperative relationship between two or more parties with each other's principles of need, raising, and mutual benefit. The goal is to know the impact of partnerships formed between farmers partners with Aspakusa Makmur Association, know the influence of partnership factors namely communication, cooperation, trust, commitment, and conflict on the social partnership conditions of farmers partners and Aspakusa Makmur Association and know the influence of acceptance, experience, land tenure, and relationship value to the economic partnership condition of farmers partner and Aspakusa Makmur Association. The research methods used are surveys. Sampling using a simple random sampling technique of 53 respondents. The implementation of research started in January - February 2020. Data analysis uses descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression. The results showed that the partnership pattern formed as a general trade partnership pattern. Variable cooperation (X2) and commitment (X4) have a significant influence on the social partnership conditions (Y1), while the communication (X1), trust (X3), and conflict (X5) do not have a significant influence on the social partnership conditions (Y1). Variable acceptance (X6) and relationship value (X9) have a significant influence on the economic partnership conditions (Y2), while the experience (X7) and land tenure (X8) do not have a significant influence on the economic partnership conditions (Y2). The need to expand the market for increased sales and profits, it will increase the number of partner farmer supply and minimize the possibility of stacking and rejection of crop yields.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the level of technical efficiency of the use of production factors in soybean farming (Glycine max L Merrill) in Toari Sub District of Kolaka District. The research method used is quantitative research with a survey approach. The determination of samples is done by the census. The object of the study was 30 farmers as respondents. Data is collected, analyzed, collected, then explained to provide answers about the phenomenon that occurs. Then, explain the relationship, the hypothesis test, and the conclusions of the analysis obtained. The results showed that a value of 1,172 is a (constant) indicating that if there is no earth tax burden then the production rate will reach 1,172. Based on the results of data processing obtained the value of t area of land by = 1,274 with a probability of 0.000 <0.05, so that the area of land is significant to soybean farming income.
